Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after. No Regrets. Worked great right out of the box, comfortable and convenient. We installed it near a sliding patio door instead of a window and there were no problems. The only puzzling thing was the parts list showed a "pre-installed carbon filter". We did not get that. There was a hybrid filter with some loosely woven carbon mesh on one side, packed separately. I gave this four stars because it arrived in a smashed box and the mount and arm were not attached. It took a while to put them together.
