No glue or tools are required, just snap the interlocking tiles together. Can be used for indoor or outdoor settings. Perfect for an entryway, mudroom, deck, terrace, showers, bathrooms, pools, or anywhere in between. They are made of solid hardwood so the scratches can be sanded out. Floating installation with tiles can be removed and relocated if needed. Each tile is 8 solid pieces of solid teak wood on a plastic base. The teak is responsibly harvested in Indonesia. It's regularly inspected and every shipment receives Indonesian government clearance for compliance with responsible teak harvesting.

It opens and closes nicely with an air spring that makes it a soft close and soft open. It has an amazing amount of space inside that feels pretty protected from the elements. It took me a bit to put it together but wasn't complicated. The instructions are decent although I did mess up a few times. Probably user error thinking I knew what I was doing. It comes packed so well that many of the pieces are screwed together so you don't lose them or the screws, but you have to unscrew them to put it back together and that's what it took me a bit to realize. It's sturdy and well designed in it's structure. Highly recommend. I know it's metal and not plastic or resin so people were worried it may rust, but I'm not as worried. purchased four and set them side to side. they look great frame is very sturdy and heavy steel. the anchors they come with definitely not long enough to hold long term in ground. i replaced with 12 galvanized anchors. the ceiling material is flimsy but does the job for now overall i say 83 happy. The construction illustrations are a bit difficult to follow at first. Fortunately, I was able to unsnap/disconnect the pieces that I erroneously snapped together. Then figured it out and got the two cubes assembled properly. They seem pretty stable and do hold enough for my purposes -- 4 thick chair pads in one and some gardening tools in the other. I used a rubber mallet to save banging with my hands to snap the pieces together.
