The U-shaped mat does not fit properly around the base of the toilet. Both the square mat and the U-shaped mat are rather thin and flimsy. I like the fact that they are easily washable, so I'll keep them since I need something and have nothing else as I look for some that are better. Perhaps I can alter the U-shaped one by cutting and sewing a new edge to make it fit. You can see in the photo how the edges lift up around the base of the toilet.
