Just put it together today (by myself, mind you!), so I can’t speak to the quality long term, but it’s perfect for what I need right now. Took me an about 2 hours to put together - lining up the heavy top was a little bit of a struggle, but i got it after a few adjustments. It’s heavier duty partial board, but the coating on it seems like it’ll hold up well. Love this island, my only complaint is that the top piece is made up of two boards that are held together by screws that aren’t long enough to keep them tight to each other or to support any weight on the side that’s used as a bar. This kitchen island arrived in three separate packages and multiple deliveries and I was excited to finally put together, but unfortunately many of the glass doors arrived shattered. I was hesitant to buy this since a large amount of reviews on here said it was difficult to put together. As long as you follow the instructions and use common sense, it is fairly simple to do by yourself. Took me about 4 hours but it was so worth the time! I truly love this piece. I added wallpaper to the doors which I’m loving. The only negative thing I have to say is the drawers are super thin and not very deep which is expected with the width of the island without the leaf up. We needed a kitchen island in our new space and this was it! It could be a bit bigger but were happy enough with this. It took me and my husband about 5-6 hours to put this together.
