The pictures can't compare to the in-person true beauty of these dishes! They are just stunning! I bought these to mix/match with the Vancasso Bonita, solid color plates, also by Vancasso. And I am very pleased. The colors just pop out with the combination. I took pics on my kitchen island and then removed the background to share how pretty they are. I love, love, love this dish set. The stoneware is high quality. The coating on them almost seems like porcelain but with the sturdy weight of stoneware. The ribbed texture and two toned design are my favorite thing. It makes the dishes look very modern and distinct. The high ridges on the plates are great for saucy foods and for stacking them in the cupboard. The mugs are also a great size. This is a set that I highly recommend!
