My old folding 13 yr old untreated teak table reached its end, so I was only too happy to find this one to finally replace it. Good delivery and packing, one big flat square box, no damage. I was in love with the wood right out of the box, did not want to mess with it. It’s smooth, even all over, and solid. All we had to do was attach the legs. However, following other reviews and since it would be exposed all summer and possibly a rainy fall before I store it for winter, I treated it with a couple layers of teak oil. It still looks gorgeous after 3 weeks and I’m very happy with my purchase. I was eyeing some 1500-range teak tables on Wayfair that looked better in pictures, but decided on this one when I found it. This is a very nice table now that it has been assembled. My husband is an accomplished trim carpenter and it took him approximately 5 hours using 12 tools including bar clamps and his own Allen wrench since the one provided was inadequate. It's not just a matter of attaching the legs, the table top comes in three pieces with holes that don't line up. My husband had to re-drill the holes and use his own wood screws since the ones provided didn't work. Then you have to assemble the apron and attach that. Then you attach the corner brackets and screw in the legs, and he had to re-drill those holes. The instructions were poor and difficult to decipher with very small print. Table itself is good and for a good price but it comes without the hardware to assemble the legs to the top. Wayfair customer service is useless and will not send you the hardware for it. So you have to go get nuts and washers at your local hardware store. Other than that, it's fine.
