The tiles didn't have a really consistent flow from tile to tile in the marbling pattern. We had to lay out all of our tiles to find a decent flow and mark where on the floor every tile should go. It works for holding single LP's. It is roomy enough inside the frame to hold an album with a sleeve and the magnet used to keep the lid on seems strong enough, but it isn't super strong so you need to make sure nothing is caught while closing the frame.
