Just received. Nice sink but the "sound deadening" material is not as pictured. It pictures what looks like a sprayed on material on the entire underside of the sink. It is, in reality, some black foam material that is glued on the bottom (large piece) along with 3' x 3' pieces of the foam randomly adhered to the basin sides. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the configuration of this sink, I installed the garbage disposal on the larger side of the sink to make it easier to drain large pots or clean off the debris from roasting pans and the like. I use the smaller side for hot soapy water. It came with a template and when installing it we could see the beautiful quality of the stainless steel which I believe is 18 gauge, appears to be very durable. Also noticed the pads which do really help with vibration and noise. The finish is just beautiful, I just love the satin finish which looks super smart. Overall very, very pleased.. Jenny52. CA.
