I have two Moen pulldown kitchen faucets. These came with weights that clamp onto the hose and don't slide. For these to work well the pullout length had to be somewhat short. So I added these sliding weights and moved the clamp-on weights to allow for a much longer pullout. Now I have all the reach I need and the faucets retract smoothly too.
