It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. We purchased this range as part of a major kitchen renovation. This installation was completed only a couple of week ago, but thus far we like the unit. Of course, the lack of a oven pre-heat display (typical on most pro ranges) willl take some time to get used to, but everything works well for cooking great meals.
