They are indeed very very heavy and arrived in two different packages which was only annoying b/c then I had to get people twice to bring them in, versus just once but two trips at the same time. I just thought that part was odd. They haven't been installed yet so I need to update my review once that happens. I put half of it together the night I got it, by myself. I love it. Firm but comfortable. The next morning I put the other half together and absolutely love it!
