I am very happy with this fixture. It is large but still works well in rooms with lower ceiling height (9' shown). It is heavy and well made. It also lets off a good amount of light. This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room.
