Prime cold rolled steel outer shell. Durable plastic insert with 17 compartments. Compartments have scooped bottoms to make part removal easy. Full piano hinge on cover provides rigidity. Positive pull-down catch keeps cover tightly closed to prevent part migration. Handle allows for easy transport. It has a durable gray powder coat finish.

The box itself is solid. You could drop this from a plane and it probably would not break, however, the plastic insert is molded horribly. The entire product came disgustingly filthy with dust and other warehouse contaminants all over and inside it. The inside of the box has rust on it. The hinge came broken which I had to fix. The latch was bent which I had to fix. The box it a good box, which is why Im keeping it and fixed it, but getting rid of the plastic insert to create my own.. Duain Goodwin. Iowa. Sun Jan 24 2021
