[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG washer is quite beautiful. Love the full glass top. It is soft close. One of the best features for me, so far, is the automatic detergent dispenser. There is also an automatic fabric softener dispenser, but you have the option to set that as a second detergent dispenser. This is a great option for us as we typically don't use a liquid fabric softener, but we do switch back and forth between two different detergents. The automatic dispensers are a game changer as we have teenagers that tend to use too much detergent. Huge capacity! Even though it is large capacity, I do not have an issue with reaching items in the bottom of the tub as I did with our last washer. That is a huge plus for me! There are a lot of preset cycles to choose from, or you can create your own through the settings menu. The cycle you set shows the time to complete and I find that it has been pretty accurate. The AI cycle is new to me, but a neat concept that I am exploring. The spin cycle did a great job on the towels, which cuts down on drying time. Little to no vibration during the spin cycle. Pretty Impressed! Using the LG ThinQ app, you can do even more customizations. A couple of fun ones are you can change the startup greeting screen (ours is currently a snowman) and tune that plays when a cycle is finished. You can also get an alert on your phone or watch through the app when the cycle is finished. Worst dryer I have ever owned and the washer that goes with it is even worse than the dryer. Nothing is ever completely dry after the first cycle AND the clothes come out VERY wrinkled. I have to iron every pair of pants that comes out of there (even dry fit comes out wrinkled) and if I didn't refuse to iron T-shirts, those would need be ironed as well. I've had this unit for a year now and can attest to its reliability and performance. My condo has a small laundry closet and this is the only front-loading LG model that would fit. It is quiet and most of my laundry comes out clean and ready for the dryer. I find that the dryer actually works comparably to a vented dryer and it is easier on my clothes. My condo association discourages ventless dryers because of its prior experiences with water damage from leaks into other units which are not as much of an issue with the newer ventless technology. I love that I don't have to worry about pulling the unit out of the closet to periodically clean the dryer vent. My only issue is that sometimes laundry will come out with dry streaks indicating that the wash cycle was somehow not fully soaked the garments, even when stacked in the drum according to the manual. This arrived very quickly and was packaged very securely so it arrived in perfect condition. It's much heavier than I expected, but that's a good thing since you don't want this tipping over. There was no assembly, so from opening the box to getting it going was quick and easy. So far, it works as expected. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. However, it doesn't easily suck up thing like Cheerios and chocolate chips that my toddler leave behind. That part is frustrating. I still need a broom to pick up larger items.. Douglas.
