A few things, If your tower is 17in without the tower feet, it will not fit against the L bracket. The L bracket should be adjustable to accommodate at least slight shorter towers, it only adjusts to the length of the tower. The base it sits on, should be vented or a mesh to help with air flow. Lastly, the mounting bracket should detachable to make it more manageable to actually mount it. I'm reviewing so I can perhaps help others who had the same issue I did and they will be able to still use the item. The instructions are only photos. It should include in the directions to make sure the tiny screws in piece B (the clamp), are Allen wrenched out of the threaded opening before inserting the pole. Then use the Allen wrench to tighten them to the pole or the pole won't be inserted properly. I also couldn't use the key board tray as I would like it to go flat on the desk but the design doesn't allow that. I'm using a laptop stand instead for the keyboard. I'm also placing the tray from Mount-it on top so I can use my mouse too while standing. I just set it up yesterday, so I hope the monitor stays in place on the pole. It feels like it could use something else to hold it in place. This is the only sit stand monitor are that is long enough for me to comfortably attach my 27" monitor so, I hope it continues to perform well. One more note, make sure your desk is solid wood, not a honeycomb filled board or the pressure will be too great for the arm and monitor. I had to get a solid wood desk top for this to be stable.. Was looking for a mount that supported my LG ultra-wide and my ASUS 25" monitor, but most either had sag issues under the wait, looked horrible, wouldn't fit the desk width, or just weren't large enough. Gotta say, very happy with this one. Looks good, feels very solid, and the monitors don't sag at all but I can still position them.The only complaint I have is the clamp that mounts it to my desk isn't the one pictured. It's more a long rectangular concave shape, instead of the circle you see in the product image. Not a big deal since it still mounts perfectly, but still...10/10, recommended. P.S.
