It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. He liked that it didn't have any wood detailing. And He loved the interior contrasting color. Having a pendant that could be set to a height for the current table and adjusted down the road for a new dining room table, was important. (electrician left extra cord length in the box in ceiling). I installed 3 of these pendants for my 10 foot island and the sizing is perfect. The gold trim perfectly matches my champagne bronze cabinet hardware. As was mentioned in another review, the finishing at the interior border is not crisp. This will drive me crazy, so I plan to clean up edges with a marker or paint pen.
