Generally pretty happy with this. Feels solid, instructions were clear, easy to put together. Only issue was that on the middle shelf, not sure if the pilot holes underneath weren't deep enough, but the screws to secure it to the bar ended up creating enough pressure that it pushed a point up and cracked the finish, and the screws hadn't even gone in all the way yet. This is the third Ebern Designs product I have purchased & it was the most difficult to put together. If you take your time and follow the directions, it is doable & turned out in the long run. The product itself is decent, it's what I needed and fit the description. The box arrived pretty banged up, however. There was a big hole in the corner exposing the contents, several small holes on the top side. Once I opened the box, the packaging was a mess: corner cardboard pieces and styrofoam were torn apart with bits everywhere. I made sure nothing was damaged and all the pieces were there, so that's ok. The instruction sheet is a little blurry, like someone made a clumsy copy from an old copy. It seems like a product that was returned, which is fine, there's nothing wrong with that. But a little attention to detail would've revealed that it had been poorly packaged and a few extra pieces of thick cardboard would've prevented the contents from clanking around inside the box and maybe even falling out of that hole in the corner.. Extremely happy overall, it arrived the same day Wayfair said it would and was packaged extremely well. I think they could've dropped it from a building and it would have been fine. The monitor stand itself is SOLID! They have it only rated for 22 pounds supposedly but it's a solid inch thick board and the legs are sturdy as well so it should handle much more. I have a 25 pound monitor with a 4 pound soundbar on mine with no issues whatsoever. I almost didn't buy it because of the low weight rating but glad I took a chance. If you are a little confused by Wayfair's and the manufacturer's differing heights like I was, the bottom of mine from the desk is 4" 1/8th's and to the top of the board is 5" 1/8th's.
