It is the perfect size for putting under the litter box. It is almost impossible for the kitten to jump out and not hit the mat. Binx and some cats like to see if they can jump out of the box and miss the mat. As soon as I put it down, he had to use the litter and throw a bunch of litter out of the box. It was easy to sweep most of it up and the hand-held vacuum cleaner did the rest. The only problem I experienced was with the shipment.
