Assembly took me 45 minutes by myself - Phillips screwdriver required. Once assembled, this thing is massive, despite the “folding” feature. Don’t think you are going to hide this in a corner. There is no hiding this thing, even when folded. The footprint doesn’t fold, so matter what, this thing is taking up the same floor space. All that said, it does provide flat drying surfaces for sweaters or lay flat items, which is why I bought it. It will definitely do the job I purchased it for.
