Installation was not easy; however, we are not professionals and decided to tackle it ourselves. Once it was done it a great shower. Just installed this dreamline sliding shower door. We needed an option without a top rail because of the unusual structure of our bathroom. The bay window would not allow for a top rail install and the bathroom was too small for a pivot style door. This slider worked great. My only complaint is that the slider has a little too much play in the top glider and so rattles a bit. We plan to reduce the clearance with a thicker piece of rubber to eliminate that issue. We also have not been able to determine how to properly drain the inner channel. It seems to hold standing water after shower use. Could be user install error. Overall a great product.. Colette. Overall, good product, and works well installed. Two points: 1. The corner joining parts are plastic. These should be metal, just have no long term faith in plastic as part of the frame. 2. The u-channel which attaches to the wall. Very poor design, the u-channel has a wing on it which is where you are to screw it to wall. This is cheap looking. The shower doors are look nice, except mine came a bit scratched up. Due to installation delays, I was unable to report this too wayfair because it was over 30 days. WOW! This is so impressive when installed. It operates like a dream with the door sliding with the very littlest of effort, but the thoughtful stoppers prevent the glass from hitting the tile. I can't get over how high-end the mechanics are on this.
