This is a good solid shower base. It was generally square and straight although the front edge was a bit bowed out. It doesn’t come with a drain so keep that in mind. I now can give it a 5 as it is fully installed. The sliding doors are beautiful and there are no leakages. My previous shower had a door which drains on the floor. Lovely shower door. The curve at the top is lovely. We installed our shower door to open inward but the instructions show to have it open outward. FedEx did a poor job of dropping this door off at our home but it wasnt damaged even though they were rough to the box. Beautiful shower. Looks great in our master bathroom but we are still having problems with leaks at each corner we have tried sealants but it still leaks. We think that It has to do with the sliding doors having certain areas that are slightly opened but we cannot seal it otherwise the doors will not slide. We are still trying to fix this problem. Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. These shower doors are very nice and they are oil rubbed bronze color. I was concerned when they arrived as the box had a tear in it and had some crushed places. But, they did not appear damaged. Update We ordered this in September 2025, but the were not to be installed until spring along with our bathroom remodel. When they were being installed the glass was laid on a table with ample padding. When the glass moving suction cups er placed as soon as suction occurred the glass blew up and shattered all over our garage. Fortunately no one was hurt. I called Wayfair immediately and my problem was resolved immediately. The Wayfair customer service representative was very helpful and stated he was glad no one was hurt. These shower doors are beautiful! The glass is thick and feels sturdy. The height allows the water to stay in the shower area. The directions were easy to follow, and the unit was fairly easy to install.
