The Atlas holding sculpture has a storied namesake. In Greek mythology, Atlas was the Titan god of endurance whom Zeus tasked with holding up the celestial heavens for eternity. The figure supporting the black woodblock on this black sculpture has as weighty a job as the mythical hero. With this sculpture, we’ve taken a piece of chamcha wood that would have been one of nature’s castaways and made it into an elemental design statement. The Cast Naturals collection highlights our skills at taking an innovative material and making it feel as if it sprang from nature. This cast wall art was carefully chosen from a real wood root so we could replicate it in a variety of finishes. We loved the thin branches and how this particular root had a good amount of negative space, so as to not overbear a wall.

Made from honey drums, this wall piece tells the sweet story of the people who collect honey in Northern Thailand and an interpretation of the clothing they wear. The drums can only be used a handful of times before they oxidize. In repurposing the metal, they are able to bring in an additional source of income beyond the bees they rely on to produce the honey. This recycled art is not only great on any wall, but it also has a beautiful story behind it.

I ordered all 6 of the geometric “Perspective Standing/Hanging” pieces with the guy in them to fill a very large empty wall over a sofa. I love them!! Each is sized differently - so be sure to look at the measurements before you order any one or all. They are lightweight - so they’ll be easy to hang. I’ll be sure to add a photo when I do hang them, but for now I’ll include photos of them laid out on the floor in different scenarios I’m considering. It’s not too easy to see because of the tile they are on - but it’ll give you an idea. Opposites attract in the composition that we call the Mesh Wall Décor.
