We have twins that we needed new beds for. We loved how this bed had a headboard so they can store their books and knick-knacks. So we ordered 2 beds, One of the beds was perfect! Took a little time to interpret the instructions, but overall easy to build - just a little time consuming. The second bed, lacked quality control. I was very disappointed. The items themselves seemed to be free of defects, but once the drawers were built and installed, there was a slight gap in all 3 drawers, so they don't close all the way. We triple and quadruple checked the rails and the wheels sat correctly and made sure everything was supposed to be as is, but still, they don't sit right. Not sure why this was but I am including pictures for reference. Now we have one saying "why do I get the broken one" and as a parent you feel awful for picking which twin gets the "Broken one". =(. This bed is holding up well. We got it for Our son when he was almost 5. He is 8 now and it’s still Perfect for him. Not sure how it would hold Up for heavier use with adults. But for him it’s great. This ended up being one of those pieces that takes some patience to put together, but once finished, it really impressed me with the overall quality and sturdiness. The assembly definitely took some time and attention to detail. It took me 3-4 hour to fully complete, mostly because there are a lot of parts and the diagrams can take a little getting used to at first. One of the screws pictured in the instructions didn’t exactly match what came in the hardware bag, but thankfully the numbering system was accurate enough that I was still able to figure everything out without much trouble. My biggest recommendation is to organize all the pieces by their letter labels before starting. That alone will save a lot of time and frustration later. I’d also highly recommend using a drill with an Allen bit because doing everything by hand would take forever. Once I got into the rhythm of it though, the installation process became much smoother. What really stood out to me after it was finished was how sturdy and durable it feels. It does not feel flimsy or cheap once fully assembled. The materials feel solid, the design is unique, and it has a really nice look to it that stands out without being overly flashy. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t overwhelm the room, but it still offers a surprising amount of storage space. We’ve been using it for organizing toys, smaller household items, and general clutter, and it works great for keeping things looking neat and organized For the price, I honestly think it’s a good value considering the size, storage capacity, and how solid it feels once built. It definitely requires patience during assembly, but the finished product feels like something that will hold up well for years instead of needing replaced after a short time.. Nestor. This bed is perfect for my son’s bedroom. He’s able to play underneath and loves climbing up and down the ladder. However, I have had this for a year and a half and the bed loosens overtime which was really nerve racking. Wish it was sturdier and had better materials.
