This took two people almost 8 hours to put together. The directions are fairly clear however it is recommended by my son to redo the directions or even three pages ahead before each step. The hardware is not magnetic and with an application like this that is something that is almost necessary. The DD screw heads were mostly faulty and stripped very easily. Time was added to assembly because of the hardware issues. There are three phases, after the first phase it does become easier and quicker. The first phase is the frame. I chose this item for a carport as shown in the photos. It is recommended to use three people although it will not reduce the amount of time that it took to put it together. My son also recommended not to tighten any of the bolts until the end of each phase. The end product is very nice, maybe allowed 2 days to complete it with less frustration.. Stacey. Fort Myers, FL.
