The box is larger than our old which was plastic. So far it has deterred a bear from opening the metal lid. A bear opened our plastic bin and pulled out a small metal barrel holding bird seed. It took us about three to four hours over the course of two afternoons. I recommend two people during assembly. Once assembled the bin seems very sturdy. Ive been watching this gazebo for over a year and finally pulled the trigger when it went on sale for memorial day. It took 2 days to assemble with 4 people and a supporting cast of 3 wives grilling and refilling water bottles and of course telling us what was being done incorrectly.lol. We bought this sink unit with 5 additional modular units without sinks to put together for a potting work area outside our shed. They were easy to put together and look amazing! Overall it's pretty sturdy once put together. I do like the heavy lid with shocks to help open and close. It's metal except for the bottom which is plastic. It does look nice. I did like the bag insert that velcro's in place and zips shut to keep bugs and such out. It's also fairly lightweight to move around. This was a pain to put together. I've assembled plenty of things without difficulty but this was time consuming with all the screws and cut myself twice on the sharp metal. They do provide good gloves for this though so wear them! Also the latch didn't line up correctly when the lid is closed and can't be adjusted so I have to push down on the lid to get a lock on it. Overall I'm happy enough with the purchase.. Anonymous. The shed arrives neatly packed. Surprisingly, I enjoyed assembling it. My only complaint is that removing all the plastic from the parts before assembly took longer than the assembly itself.
