We love this dog house. We have a 110 pound German shepherd who prefers being outside. I never grew up with an outdoor dog so I was extremely hesitant to move him full time to our backyard, but this dog house made it an easier choice. He’s super happy and so are we. One thing to note is the installation is very tricky. We thought we could do it ourselves but we ended up paying someone 700 to build it for us. Great product. We actually bought this as a play house for our toddlers (and our three pups) but our toddlers love to play with anything that looks like a real life playhouse. This house is design for large dogs which are not able to be kept indoor in winter. Especial add heating liner so that your furry friends will feel as warm as indoor. Easy to control the temperature and heating time inside. All-around metal frame to prevent the house from bite. It is easy to assemble with instructions. And there is a sturdy, large space for dogs to move around quite easily.

Updated 13125 after using Still a good buy, but would helpful if the heating source had a timertemp adjustment like the heating pads you can buy for pets. This would make it so you can have it warm during cold morning hours but then auto shut off as the day gets warmer. The temp stays the same all day. Granted, pups don’t HAVE to go in, but would be nice to have that option. We may end up not using the heating source and drilling a hole in the back so we can out our own adjustable pad in there. Great, sturdy house that gets plenty warm for the pups. Fits our two dogs well with extra room chiweenie and terrier. It would get 5 stars, but there are two things I would change. There is no onoff switch, so you have to plugunplug rather than flip a switch. Guess it only matters if dogs are indoors when you’re home. It would also be a great feature if one side of the roof had hinges to open from the top, which would make accessing the house much more convenient. The only way to clean the inside, if necessary, is to go through the small front entryway. Not very convenient or easy for someone who may not be able to get low to the ground.
