A very well thought out piece and design for my Goldens play and exercise yard. It is sturdy painted and hardware is included for assembly. The hinges are already installed which makes it a little easier. The gravel areas on the ramps and deck are a very nice touch. It would have been really nice if an outdoor waterproof varnish had been added as this piece is large and hard to move about and will be outdoors in all weather conditions. We love this dog house. We have a 110 pound German shepherd who prefers being outside. I never grew up with an outdoor dog so I was extremely hesitant to move him full time to our backyard, but this dog house made it an easier choice. He’s super happy and so are we. One thing to note is the installation is very tricky. We thought we could do it ourselves but we ended up paying someone 700 to build it for us. The way it was packaged is if someone else had sent it back. it was in a box labeled dog pads, and it was thrown in there. The cord was just thrown in there wasn’t tied up like you would normally see with a new one., but it worked and my dog loved it, and after showing him a couple of times he was able to do it by himself.
