Lovely shower door. The curve at the top is lovely. We installed our shower door to open inward but the instructions show to have it open outward. FedEx did a poor job of dropping this door off at our home but it wasnt damaged even though they were rough to the box. Overall, good product, and works well installed. Two points: 1. The corner joining parts are plastic. These should be metal, just have no long term faith in plastic as part of the frame. 2. The u-channel which attaches to the wall. Very poor design, the u-channel has a wing on it which is where you are to screw it to wall. This is cheap looking. kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.
