This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. This 12-pack of 14 watt 7” LED 5CCT Selectable Disc Lights features a versatile design in a white aluminum trim, suitable for damp locations and that fit standard 3.5" and 4" J-Boxes, allowing for an easy and quick installation for both remodels and new construction and allowing users and installers to choose the tone of white light they desire before installation.

Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. You will need to order the springs from the company for them to work unless you have newer construction they won’t work. That being said, they seem like good quality. I cant really write much about this product because I did not realize just how small they are, so I can not use this product because I need the connectors to be spaced out more for my kitchen light. What I can write about these bulbs are that they are very durable as they are extremely thick. Upon insecting these, they are really high quality. They are tiny. My thumb is almost the same size as these. My mother has a chandelier type of light, so if the take this type of connector and not the screw in bulbs, I will test them on hers. OR because I am satisfied with the quality of these, I will by a light that takes these bulbs specifically. The shipping was amazing.
