Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. Beautiful, but it was incredibly difficult to assemble. I know a lot of people said it was easy, but as a young woman, I just didn't have the strength in my thumbs to insert all the tiny plastic pieces without it being excruciatingly painful in the end. I'm not saying that to scare you - just know what if you don't have strong hands, it can hurt. I was in tears in the end. I'd recommend getting someone to help you. Additionally, the long metal bar that's wedged into the headboard was not fitting and I had no idea why. I finally had to use a mallet to pound it into place. It's probably the hardest thing I've personally ever assembled due to the pain-factor. Once the bed was done, it was very solid and high-quality. It works perfectly fine as a twin-size day bed. If you're making it a king size, I'd recommend getting a twin-to-king mattress converter. That eliminates the painful gap in the middle. For extra comfort you can add a king-size mattress topper, but I didn't do that due to lack of storage space (if I had the space I wouldn't need the trundle bed). Couch came in a day and was exactly what we expected. We gave it around 8 hours to initially inflate and followed the simple instructions of punching it and fluffing it to stimulate it to inflate. From what I have read it takes up to 4 days to fully inflate but even a day in we are super happy with it. Soft enough to sit on for hours but firm enough to not sink. As for size, I am 6ft 3 and me and my girlfriend can easily both spread out on this thing so it’s a win in that regard.
