This was a little smaller than I anticipated (assumed it would be the same size as a similar medallion from the same brand, silly me) but it is a subdued, elegant touch to upgrade a fixture I still want to replace! Very happy with this ceiling medallion. The light fixture I had originally ordered for the room felt too small and this gave it the dimension in the room that was missing. Pretty simple to install. I ordered the ceiling medallion in "primed" and plan to paint it to coordinate with the room. It arrived quickly and well packaged; my only complaint is that the hole in the middle isn't centered; fortunately, the canopy for the light fixture is large enough that it conceals that the hole is off-center. The ceiling medallion is much heavier than others I have purchased; I am sure it will require construction adhesive to keep it attached to the ceiling.
