This is a great raised garden bed. We did get chicken wire and put it under the entire structure, so moles and gophers couldn't come up through it, and believe me they have tried. The flaps are great when harvesting the back side of the plants. I didn't give this a 5 star, because the gate doesn't stay shut without propping something on it or placing a rock pile under it. Perfect! Great quality, look, size, shape, etc. I found a similar/same item (but under a different brand) on the Wayfair site in black, but stalled to order and sale price increased from $120-ish to $166.99 in one day. Was very bummed until I found these for $104 each - the photo, dimensions and description were identical (except for color). Thought I was settling, but the brownstone color is beautiful - not a chocolate brown like I feared, just a neutral grayish-brown that's slightly speckled and really looks great. Attached is a photo next to a black container for reference. Also love that the thick lip around the planter makes it feel substantial and give it extra strength, even though its a 1-ply heavy gauge plastic pot. Im using it for a large espalier shrub for screening so its sturdiness is important. Drain holes will need to be drilled, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to all positives.. Rosy1111. NY.
