The frame pieces are quite sturdy maybe not as thick as other chairs I’ve purchased from Wayfair, but I believe they’ll hold us! The fabric is an attractive charcoal color and seems durable. Assembly was pretty straightforward— LOTS of nuts and bolts that seemed to tighten up well. The swivel action is smooth. I gave a 4 star-rating because the frame is not as solid as I had hoped.. It looks great! Sturdy and sleek. The directions were sketches and clear to understand. All pieces were well marked! It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. The first pieces were difficult because we had to be on our knees to screw it together, after that all was well. Small tools included. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place..
