The stainless steel is thick enough to not flex under the weight of pasta or vegetables, and the perforations drain water quickly without letting small items slip through. The handles stay cool, feel secure in the hand, and don’t wobble, which matters when dumping hot water. The fan is a.little louder than my old one was, but ok. The package arrived safely(extremely well packed) and on time. The only problem we had was removing the knockout, the vent access. Love the new dish strainer. It adds so much to my kitchen vs my old plastic one! And the expansion section is perfect for us. Only and my hubby most of the time but when kids and grands come it will be nice to have the extra space.
