First let me say the sink Is gorgeous! I love the look that it gives in one of my recently completed bathroom projects - chic and sleek! Aesthetically it is 5 stars. HOWEVER! The manufacturer should clearly state in the Installation specs that this sink REQUIRES additional wall blocking OR a specialty bracket to securely attach the sink to the wall. The sink is quite heavy and the ridiculously inadequate brackets that are included with the sink WILL fail even with nominal use. As a Certified Interior Designer for over 26 years, I would highly recommend that a "wall hung sink bracket" is recommended with the purchase of this product. Luckily the contractor was able to address the issue and make it work - the provided hardware COULD NOT BE USED. Had we known the hardware provided was so crappy I would have advised a better support option during the renovation (i.e.: blocking inside the wall or specialty bracket). I do take full ownership for assuming the manufacturer would supply what was needed or recommend up front what would result in the best installation possible However, it is still no excuse for providing such shoddy hardware to attach such a heavy sink to the wall. Customer satisfaction with their purchase should be end to end - not end after the sale.
