Can you tell which seats have been used the most? absolutely. But that's with most couches. My absolute favorite part about this couch is that it has held it's shape and the fabric. Like sofa, it replaced a large, bulky sofa that blocked too much window & my legs didn't touch the floor when sitting on it. This new sofa is perfect for my space. Easy to put together with understandable instructions. I will say this sofa is not ideal for tall people over 6 ft. since it sits low.
