This took about an hour and 30 minutes to put together. I’d recommend having a second person hold it while you put it together. The door is semi heave when it’s open which can cause it to fall on you while you are putting it together. Definitely recommend anchoring it to the wall as well. It came a little damaged but it was just cosmetic. Once it was put together the door wouldn’t close. I had to mess with the hinges a bit with a screw driver to get it to fix. The top opening case features an easily programmable five push button Simplex mechanical lock that does not require batteries. The Top Draw can accommodate up to two pistols depending on their sizes. This is heavy metal! See how thick the lid is? I have some other cheap gun safes but those are like tin-can to this one. It is solid heavy, 12 gauge steel I guess? Surprised for this price. Big enough for my 2 guns and clips. Programming is simple and straight-forward, easy to use. Fingerprint works well, the spring lid pops up pretty quick. This gun safe is perfect! It’s not heavy but it’s still sturdy and good quality. I love that it has pistol pockets. That is a very handy feature! This is my first gun safe and I haven’t had any issues with it thus far. I have yet to change the combination, but don’t feel the need to do so at the moment. I may do so in the near future and will repost if I come across any issues. I don’t have any reason to believe that I’d have any issues as the craftsmanship and quality seem to be really good.
