Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. In our case, there was a bit of splash outside the shower pan with, possible due to the pan's slope. Our solution is to install a small quartz barrier (like a threshold). This is a WINNER for the price. Color a refrigerator wraps around the sides gives you two handles to choose from. You don’t have to put a cheesy decals on it so it looks really high-end. I will note the brass golden color handles are actually not golden but a light yellow color that has a black wash on top of it so they don’t appear gold but they don’t appear any color I’ve ever seen really but they go well with lots of things..
