This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. The hose in the back is small. Our old one had a bigger hose and would still get clogged up so I'm concerned about that, but so far it hasn't been a problem. Overall, I'm glad we got it.. Michelle. This dehumidifier works amazing! We had a humidity issue in our house and this fixed it. This dehumidifier works so well it actually made our smart thermostat send alert that humidity had dropped below normal. Decent faucet. I was surprised that the hoses were the thin, flexible plastic versus braided stainless hoses—they’re perfectly adequate, was just surprised. As others have mentioned, it does spot easily, but it’s also got prominent polished features which invite water. If you go into buying any polished chrome fixture appreciating that this will happen, it’s all good. Keep a small towel or roll of paper towel under your sink and give a quick wipe after using to prevent water from drying. I installed myself—the directions were all pictures. It’s rather lightweight considering the size, so whether or not this is actually chrome or simply a “chrome like finish” is hard to say, but I do like it and the way it looks on my modern sink.
