This works extremely well in our companies conference room. For the price paid, we find it to be an exceptional value. Stylistically the case is extremely fake looking ended no way passes for wood but it gets the job done. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. The draft of the Declaration of Independence is presented to Congress in this historical scene that graces the United States Capitol Rotunda and the back of the U.S. two-dollar bill. Trumbull painted some of the images from life and visited Independence Hall to depict the chamber accurately. Though the signing took place over time and the signers were never actually in a room together, Trumbull was able to portray 42 of the actual 56 signers by locating source images. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. The replica 4.375" wide, European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image. Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin were named to a committee to prepare a declaration of independence. Jefferson (standing) did the actual writing because he was known as a good writer. Congress deleted Jefferson's most extravagant rhetoric and accusations. Also depicted are Benjamin Franklin (left), and John Adams (center) meeting at Jefferson's lodgings, on the corner of Seventh and High (Market) streets in Philadelphia, to review a draft of the Declaration of Independence.
