The portable AC unit definitely helps cool the room and makes my overall electric bill cheaper by not running the central AC as much. The biggest game changer is buying the dual hose conversion. I would not recommend this product if you did not purchase the door hose conversion. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
