Ive been looking for a water fountain for quite some time. I wanted something that would provide conversation privacy from my neighbors, drown out some freeway noise, yet still sound tranquil. What I love about this fountain is the shape, size and overall modern style. Its a heavy solid piece, and it sounds wonderful with just the perfect amount of water flow. Wayfair Delivery was quick and amazing, and my contractor put it together in less than a hour. Everything is built-in, so once you get it centered and level, you just add water and plug it in. Simple, easy concept design! Its more textured than I expected, and unfortunately there are minor nicks all around the exterior and along the rim. Because I ordered the black color, its probably more noticeable. Just something to note if ordering in black. Overall, Im so happy with my new water fountain!! Its adding so much to my peace!!. I love this Fountain however, about the plastic plug at the base of the bottom bowl tends to pop up and allow water to drain, my handyman was able to Jerry rig a system that holds the plug down so problem is solved but manufacturer should address. There were a few blemishes in the finish that did not seem to occur during shipping but left the manufacturer that way. Overall quality is quite good. When assembled, some parts were a bit wobbly, requiring shims to balance things. Assembly instructions for this item were nonexistent. Only general care guidelines were given. This fountain is stately and beautiful. It took several people to lift the lower portions into place because it is really heavy. Then, the individual bowls had to be leveled separately. Once assembled, however, it was easy to operate. We noticed that in hot, humid weather the water evaporates quickly and we have to keep refilling the bottom bowl. I absolutely love this fountain. The only minor issue was the internal pipe for the power cable; it was a bit short, which limited the water level and made the pump sound a little loud. I easily swapped it out for a longer piece of standard PVC pipe, which allowed for a higher water level and a much quieter operation.
