Ive been looking for a water fountain for quite some time. I wanted something that would provide conversation privacy from my neighbors, drown out some freeway noise, yet still sound tranquil. What I love about this fountain is the shape, size and overall modern style. Its a heavy solid piece, and it sounds wonderful with just the perfect amount of water flow. Wayfair Delivery was quick and amazing, and my contractor put it together in less than a hour. Everything is built-in, so once you get it centered and level, you just add water and plug it in. Simple, easy concept design! Its more textured than I expected, and unfortunately there are minor nicks all around the exterior and along the rim. This is a beautiful, quality looking fountain. Extremely heavy and I love the sound of the flowing water- I can hear it across my backyard. I absolutely love this fountain. The only minor issue was the internal pipe for the power cable; it was a bit short, which limited the water level and made the pump sound a little loud. I easily swapped it out for a longer piece of standard PVC pipe, which allowed for a higher water level and a much quieter operation. We adore this fountain. It came very well packaged and was in perfect condition when it arrived. We have it near a busy sidewalk and our bird feeders. We intentionally ordered a fountain that was low enough for dogs to be able to drink from it as well as our feathered friends. The birds adore it, and it has definitely increased the amount of birds we receive at the feeders. We hired a professional electrician to install it, and he said it was simple to do. We top it off every 5-6 days. I would say that the only negative is that the filter needs to be cleaned out more than we expected, about every 3-4 weeks to keep it operating at its best, but that is very quick and easy to do.. I love this Fountain however, about the plastic plug at the base of the bottom bowl tends to pop up and allow water to drain, my handyman was able to Jerry rig a system that holds the plug down so problem is solved but manufacturer should address. It’s a gorgeous fountain. I don’t know how anyone would be able to hook this up without professional help. It took two men to lift it out of the box piece by piece and assemble it. It has a great water sound and a bit of a splash. Because it’s on pavers I’m not sure what I can do to prevent the splash on the floor.
