Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after. This air conditioner works pretty well in a small room. My husband cut a hole in the wall to vent it outside. It stays fairly consistent to the set temp except during the hottest part of the day when the sun shines directly into that room. It still stayed cool enough but just not at set temp. The unit is whisper quiet depending on the setting. Even on high, it’s much more quiet than the traditional non inverter units. It’s worth the bump in price.
