It is very comparable in sound and pressure to the same desk top fan that I use in my bedroom. I got this for my daughter’s room. She has a smaller room so this fan was the perfect size to cool the space. The fan is lightweight, quiet and has what I find to be a unique range of rotation, unlike any fan I have seen previously. I am fairly certain that she hasn’t turned it off since she got it and it is still going strong. I haven't tested all of the speeds but I can tell you that it is good fan for a smaller space.. Sarah.
