This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. The hose in the back is small. Our old one had a bigger hose and would still get clogged up so I'm concerned about that, but so far it hasn't been a problem. Overall, I'm glad we got it.. Michelle. This dehumidifier works amazing! We had a humidity issue in our house and this fixed it. This dehumidifier works so well it actually made our smart thermostat send alert that humidity had dropped below normal. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. Not thrilled about the wall wart power supply and would had preferred an internal version. Edit after a few months, my 20 year old plumbing has been descaling en mass. I replaced my water heater, also 20 years old. The water is coming out with the lime sentiment. It quickly settles. But I’m hoping it finishes. The product obviously works. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is.
