The Design House 727990 Passage Knob does not lock and is used in bedrooms, hallways and other rooms where privacy is not important. Features two, non-locking knobs, one on each side of the door. Finished in oil rubbed bronze and designed for left or right hand doors, this knob fits the two most common backsets in the U.S. (2-3/4-inch and 2-3/8-inch). Use this knob on standard 1-3/8-inch and 1-3/4-inch thick doors with a cross bore 2-1/8 in dia or edge bore 1-1/16 in dia. (1 in. x 2-1/4 in. radius corner faceplate). The Passage Knob is ideal for install on closet, hallway and bedroom doors and not intended for locking purposes. Nice looking greenhouse. It took about 2 afternoons to put together, but could have been done in one day. Mostly put it together myself, but I did need a second person when connecting the walls together. The instructions are visual and every part is numbered in the order that you assemble them which is nice, HOWEVER the instructions for assembling the roof were impossible see with the diagrams given, it says to put in a bunch of screws, but not which part you are screwing into, or how those pieces go together kind of important information! I had to zoom in on pictures of the finished greenhouse on Wayfair to try and guess how the pieces went together, wasting a lot of time, and still end up putting one piece backwards, requiring me to backtrack and redo that part. I even contacted the manufacturer for help using the email on the instructions, they did get back to me, but by that time I had it sorted. And yes I put the roof on crooked, that part is on me. The other thing I should note is that the hardware for the door is very thin metal, I don't think it will hold up very long, especially with the tiny screws used for the hinges, so this will eventually need to be replaced. Several pieces of the wood panel were also warped, but I managed to get them to fit. Overall, good value for the price, about what I expected, it's not the most solid structure, but I am building in shelves and a work table which will reinforce it. We’re really happy with this greenhouse overall. The size is perfect—not too overwhelming, but still big enough to actually do something with. It feels like a great starter option if you’re getting into gardening without wanting to go all-in on something massive or super expensive. Assembly was definitely the biggest challenge. My husband put it together on his own (which… respect), but he said having a second person would make a huge difference—and honestly, even a third if you want it done quickly. That said, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and all the parts were really well organized in the boxes, which helped a lot. Most of the hiccups were just from doing it solo. The only minor issue we’ve noticed is the door—it was pretty snug at first. We think one of the wood pieces may have been slightly bowed, but it’s already starting to loosen up and work better the more we use it. We love the look of it, and it feels like a solid setup for the price. It also didn’t feel overwhelming to prep the base (we did gravel), which was a big plus. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this for a first greenhouse—especially if you’ve got the space and want to start a larger garden without overcomplicating things.
