This house loft bed exceeded my expectations. It’s extremely sturdy and feels very well-built—no wobbling or creaking at all, even with daily use. The shed arrived packaged in two big bundles and was delivered down two dirt roads to gravel driveway. Great delivery service ! My carpenter neighbor put the building together on piers. However he reinforced the floor with additional two by fours. The building was a good value with the windows. This building is my she-shed for my Mtn getaways. I love to camp and becoming intolerant to inconsiderate, loud, and drunk neighbors in next site. We purchased primitive lot in NC foothillmtn years ago. Unable to afford a second house here, my she shed will be my camping getaway site. No close site neighbors. Plenty of storage space on the shelf inside as well. I have not painted the building yet as too hot in NC but will later. It will serve as my new camping site! My neighbor Keith also constructed a deck for the she shed as well. Really hard to get together. Should be labels that say front and back to make easier. Use the picture from wayfair as a guide. Also the space between the shelf and bed sucks lol but we will use body pillow to block the space and avoid injury. After the struggle of getting it together with my husband, we are still married and our toddler loves it! The things we do for our kids!! Now to redecorate!! I just put it together over the weekend and I have not installed the door yet. My first impression was the wood was brittle and prone to cracking. One of the window frames was cracked on delivery and I had to glue it together. I put it together by myself with some help from time to time. You have to be handy! This cedar shed is perfect as an additional bunk house/office for our vacation/remote work location. My contractor, who assembled it had a few issues as the directions are pretty basic. So pay attention to part numbers as the illustrated plans indicate what goes where. It arrives on two pallets with wall panels that already have the siding attached and roof panels already shingled. He bought pressure treated 2x4s and better plywood for the base/floor since the cabin didn't come with all the pieces of flooring needed (super annoying) and making 6 or 8 joist boxes is kinda silly but due to fitting everything on pallets, that's necessary from a manufacturing standpoint. So we improvised. In these photos, we had painted the floor already, preparing for laying the final flooring. We will be insulating and adding a nice whitewashed paneling for the interior walls. We may run an extension cord out there or actually run power properly. Not sure yet. My contractor billed me 30 hours for assembly and he worked alone. Great shed!
