I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. I need to complain first. The shed was supposed to be here april 12-15th instead it was on its way in February....that didn't work out so they postponed it until March 12th. Then there was a delivery issue, were they wanted me to pick it up (with a flat bed in ohio) OR rent a high-low to get it off there truck...!? Wait that's not what the add said!! Finally it came and got off the truck. The shed itself is easy to put together the trusses were a bit daunting and I would have to say the hardest part was figuring out the roof sheeting sizes. After that it was a snap, I even put in electrical and outside lighting in the soffit. I also used the box it came in to make a (FREE WORK BENCH) as well as rafters for extra storage...I used every bit of what they sent me and this is what I ended up with. This prefabricated storage shed 5-foot wide double door makes it easy to move larger items into this handy space. The higher 7-foot walls add more headroom as well. This collection makes a great addition to any backyard.

This cedar shed is perfect as an additional bunk house/office for our vacation/remote work location. My contractor, who assembled it had a few issues as the directions are pretty basic. So pay attention to part numbers as the illustrated plans indicate what goes where. It arrives on two pallets with wall panels that already have the siding attached and roof panels already shingled. He bought pressure treated 2x4s and better plywood for the base/floor since the cabin didn't come with all the pieces of flooring needed (super annoying) and making 6 or 8 joist boxes is kinda silly but due to fitting everything on pallets, that's necessary from a manufacturing standpoint. So we improvised. In these photos, we had painted the floor already, preparing for laying the final flooring. We will be insulating and adding a nice whitewashed paneling for the interior walls. We may run an extension cord out there or actually run power properly. Not sure yet. My contractor billed me 30 hours for assembly and he worked alone. Great shed! This outdoor storage shed is pretty complicated to build. It took me a couple of days to put together the floor and the walls, and I'm still not done because I realized a few parts are missing from the back wall, and the front wall part is about 3 inches shorter. So now I'm waiting for the missing parts and doing my best to make it work. My level of experience in assembling stuff is so-so, but I strongly recommend hiring people to build this because it's pretty complicated to build a shed like this that has over probably 100 parts that have to be meticulously assembled together. The doors are pre-assembled and pre-hung and comes with complete system. The shed doors come with a durable, rust-resistant swivel hasp and galvanized steel hinges. Hinges are continuous from top to bottom to prevent sagging. Smartside siding is treated to prevent fungal decay and insect infestation.

The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. The frame beams are twisted and crooked, overall it is a poor quality kit. The instructions are easy, however the quality of the wood is very poor. I thought I was getting a good deal but I was not.. After a year it is still standing after 2 winters in New England. Snow slides right off no more shoveling the shed roof off. I build a 12x12 deck platform out of 2x6 for this to site on and works great. The took a day with two people. It has held together pretty well. The 1 thing I hate the most is the doors. They really need to re-engineer the doors as they are junk. They slide and move, I think I will need to rebuild this summer and make them more solid. No leads, it holds the ATV and Lawn tractor.. Well the shed is great but the team sent out to install it were not even familiar with how to put together a shed. They said that they don't even get told what they're going to build just to bring tools and show up somewhere. I was very disappointed. They didn't even get to finish that day but I didn't want them to come back because they wouldn't be paid to come back an extra day. This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently got this shed and love it! I was really drawn to the exterior and the overall style of the shed. It compliments our house so well. I liked the added gable above the door, the details of the windows in the doors, as well as the window (which actually opens to give additional airflow) with cute shutters really give it a lot of personality. The exterior really does have the look and texture of wood, but I'm thrilled I won't be having to paint it every few years. It is not just a basic functional shed, it actually improves the overall look of our yard. This shed is also very functional. It has steel posts in each of the walls and steel rafters so it is very well built and sturdy. We live in an area prone to a lot of wind so I was initially concerned about the durability of the material, but once we built it, I'm confident it'll stand up great. I also really love the attention to storage detail. It comes with two shelves included that span the entire width of one wall, and lots of options on locations on several walls to hang them. There are tons of spaces and kits you can buy for additional shelving if you need. The shelves are reinforced with metal rods and very stable. I also liked the hooks that it comes with that attach the wall perfect for holding lawn tools or extension cords. The double doors open up very wide and we measured and our riding lawn mower will fit with no problem once we get it up and running this season. The doors also have a sturdy locking mechanism and are reinforced with steel so they are very secure. The second door has a pin mechanism to keep it shut, so you only have to open both doors when you need to. The windows on the wall and door both provide plenty of light, but the entire top of the shed is actually translucent skylights so it is very well lit and bright. My husband is also 6'4" tall and can comfortably walk around inside. We have had several spring storms bringing wind, snow, sleet, and rain since we assembled this shed and have had no issues with leaking water whatsoever! We had no problems assembling it, but just be aware it does take time. It took about 10 hours for my husband and I to put it together. I would definitely recommend assembling it on completely level ground. If it was unlevel it would be much more difficult to assemble. The manual was very clear and the directions were easy to follow. The parts were all labeled very well and easy to identify. The manual tells you exactly which parts you need for each step and even the hardware is separated into individual labeled bags for each stage of assembly. Overall, we are very happy with our shed!
