We've put it on the wall and powered it up and everything seems to be working as it should. I haven't yet measured the surface temperature of the panels but my "touch test" suggests it's at or close to the 158 degree advertised temperature. It also seems solidly built, so I feel confident it will hold up over time. Standard bath towels, first folded in half, fit pretty well, although they hang just a touch over the end. We also did a "hardwired" installation, with the wire running behind the wall to the junction box. This involves a little extra work, including cutting off the plug and stripping the wires, but it provides a "cleaner" look and in my view is worth the effort. My one modest complaint is that the wall anchors that are included don't feel sufficient for long-term hold, particularly on the 4-bar model. I strongly suggest that you find a stud for mounting, and use "wing" style anchors where a stud is not available. This is what we did and it now feels quite solid. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer does an amazing job and there are soooo many options to ensure your clothes get the right drying temp, etc. that they need. Connected to wi-fi - just haven't used that yet. Two small issues - (1) our lint sensor is crazy sensitive. Just had the ducts cleaned yet it constantly gives us a warning that our ducts are almost blocked. (2) the vent in the back started rusting within 3 months!!! Dryer vents can rust but not usually this fast. Trying to stay on top of that but it's a bit of a bummer for such an expensive item. They should fix this!. Acm71. NC. Tue Dec 10 2024
